Declared World Heritage by UNESCO, the Cilento is a mountainous area in the south of the province of Salerno, between the gulfs of Salerno and Policastro.The Cilento coastline is known for the unquestionable quality of bathing waters: every year numerous coastal resorts are awarded by various environmental associations (bku bandi, etc.).
